Certification of the metallic devision (today designed by Quintas & Quintas - Condutores Eléctricos, SA) by the Portuguese Institute of Quality  (93/ CEP 71) ISO 9002/ EN 29002.

Celebration of a contract with Hidroeléctrica Cahora Bassa for the supply of Aluminium Power Cables, comprising the rehabilitation of the D.C. Power Lines between Songo, Mozambique, and Apolo, South Africa, to be financed by the portuguese Government.

Celebration of a contract between Quintas & Quintas/ Pararede/ NKF Kabel (Nokia Cables) covering technology transfer for the production of OPGW cables.

Certification bu AENOR for the supply of Aluminium Power cables to the Spanish Market (Cert. ER 219/2/95).

Beginning of the production of OPGW- Optical Ground Wirw Cables.  

Certification by APCER, according to NP EN ISSO 9001.

Enlargement of the insulated low voltage range of cables to underground cables, of aluminium and cooper.
